Job Title: Architect – Sustainability, Embodied Carbon
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: Minimum 2 years of architectural experience
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Architect with a passion for sustainable design to join our team in Bangalore. You
will be responsible for evaluating the environmental impact of building materials and structures, utilizing BIM workflows
and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software to help minimize the embodied carbon footprint of our projects. You will also be
given other ad\-hoc sustainability task from time to time
Key Responsibilities
1\. Carbon Modeling \& Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and EPD
\*\*LCA Execution:\*\* Lead the embodied carbon assessment of projects from concept to detailed design stages
using \*\*One Click LCA\*\*.
\*\*Material Evaluation:\*\* Analyze and compare the environmental impacts of various building materials,
structural systems, and construction methods to recommend low\-carbon alternatives.
\*\*Data Integration:\*\* Extract Material Take\-Offs (MTOs) and quantities from design models to feed accurately
into carbon tracking tools.
Familiar with working knowledge of full spectrum of EPD submission
2\. BIM \& Architectural Integration
\*\*Design Synchronization:\*\* Work seamlessly within \*\*Revit and AutoCAD\*\* environments to review
architectural models and ensure they are optimized for carbon tracking.
\*\*Technical Collaboration:\*\* Coordinate with design architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants to
implement embodied carbon reduction strategies without compromising design intent.
3\. Reporting, Presentation \& Client Advisory
\*\*Technical Writing:\*\* Compile detailed, high\-quality sustainability and carbon assessment reports for clients,
stakeholders, and green building certification bodies
\*\*Data Visualization:\*\* Translate complex carbon data into clear, visually engaging presentations.
\*\*Stakeholder Engagement:\*\* Present findings and reduction pathways confidently to project teams and clients,
explaining the "why" behind low\-carbon material choices.
Requirements \& Qualifications
Technical Skills \& Experience
Experience:Minimum 2 years of active working experience within an architectural practice or sustainability consultancy.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a related field.
Software Proficiency: Advanced hands\-on experience with Revit and AutoCADis mandatory.
Proven, practical experience working with One Click LCA (or equivalent LCA software like Tally/Athena, with a
strong willingness to master One Click LCA immediately).
Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and the concept of
circular economy in the built environment.

detail when auditing material quantities and data inputs.

a fast\-paced environment. Able to work independently
\*\*Communication Skills:\*\* Excellent written English for technical report writing and strong verbal presentation
skills to communicate technical concepts simply.
