Area Sales Manager

• *Salary Range:** ₹75,000 – ₹1,25,000 per month (based on experience and performance)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results\-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations across Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, managing distributor/dealer networks, developing key customer relationships, and leading a high\-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Manage and expand the distributor, dealer, and channel partner network within the assigned territory.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Territory Sales Officers.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
• Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance reports for management.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of territory management and channel sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
