Assistant Accounts Manager

• *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager with a strong background in Freight Forwarding Finance to support and manage the company's financial operations. The role involves overseeing accounts receivable and payable, monitoring customer collections, managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and ensuring smooth financial operations related to freight forwarding activities.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.
• Review and process vendor invoices, freight charges, and supplier payments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS reports, and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Perform customer, vendor, and bank reconciliations.
• Verify job profitability and revenue recognition for freight forwarding shipments.
• Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Pricing teams on financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist the Finance Manager in achieving departmental objectives and improving financial controls.

• *Requirements**

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or MBA Finance is preferred.
• Minimum 5\+ years of experience in Finance and Accounts within a Freight Forwarding or Logistics company.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding financial processes, including receivables, payables, job costing, and profitability analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem\-solving skills.

Pay: ₹40,000\.00 \- ₹55,000\.00 per month
