Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Assistant Manager – Finance \& Accounts** to manage day\-to\-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, manufacturing and project costing, financial reporting and audit coordination.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, financial reporting and ERP systems, preferably with experience in manufacturing or engineering industries.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting \& Book Closure

• Maintain accurate and complete books of accounts using accounting software and ERP systems, preferably Focus ERP.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual book closures.
• Ensure accurate journal entries, provisions, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

GST \& Statutory Compliance

• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B and GSTR\-2B reconciliation.
• Monitor input tax credit (ITC), reversals and GST\-related reconciliations.
• Coordinate GST audits and respond to departmental notices.
• Handle TDS deductions, challan payments and return filings, including Forms 24Q and 26Q.
• Manage Form 16/16A and TRACES reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act and Companies Act.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors and tax consultants.

Manufacturing \& Project Costing

• Track and monitor project\-wise costs.
• Support manufacturing and project accounting activities.
• Assist with cost analysis and financial controls for engineering projects.

Accounts Payable \& Receivable

• Manage vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Monitor creditors and debtors ageing reports.
• Track outstanding payments and bad debt provisions.
• Coordinate with sales and project teams regarding financial transactions.

MIS \& Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports for management.
• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability and cost centres.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
• Provide financial information to support management decisions.

Audit \& Compliance Support

• Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents and reconciliations.
• Assist auditors with financial information and clarifications.
• Implement audit recommendations and accounting process improvements.

Required Qualifications \& Skills

• **CA Inter (Group I or Group II cleared).**
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance and financial accounting.
• Experience in monthly and annual book closures.
• Hands\-on experience with Tally or ERP accounting software.
• Experience with Focus ERP will be an added advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and formulas.
• Understanding of manufacturing accounting, project costing and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating with auditors and tax consultants.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting responsibilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• CA Inter candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Candidates from engineering, pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing, industrial equipment or water treatment systems companies.
• Experience working in organisations with annual turnover of approximately ₹30–100 crore.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, MIS reporting, accounts payable and receivable.
• Candidates currently based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate.
