Job Description
The Assistant Manager \- Sales \& Marketing will assist in managing and supporting the regional sales team to drive revenue growth, maintain client relationships, and promote the hotel’s services and offerings within the designated region. This role is key in ensuring the hotel meets or exceeds its sales targets by leveraging market insights, relationship management, and executing strategic sales initiatives.
+ o Assist in the execution of regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals for the hotel.
+ o Support the development and execution of annual sales plans and initiatives tailored to the region.
+ o Conduct regular market research to identify sales opportunities and potential target clients.
+ o Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other key partners.
+ o Respond to inquiries, handle requests, and proactively engage with clients to convert leads into sales.
+ o Organize client meetings and follow\-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
+ o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, focusing on corporate, group, and leisure sales.
+ o Develop strategies to penetrate new markets, increasing hotel visibility and reach.
+ o Track sales leads, monitor progress, and ensure timely follow\-up to maximize conversion rates.
+ o Assist in preparing and presenting proposals and quotations to potential clients.
+ o Coordinate with the hotel operations team to ensure smooth execution of booked events and services.
+ o Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are logged and followed up on effectively.
+ o Monitor regional sales performance and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager and senior leadership.
+ o Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
+ o Track sales activity, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
+ o Assist with the promotion and sales of meetings, events, and conference space in the hotel.
+ o Help with the coordination of large\-scale events and corporate bookings to ensure all client needs are met.
+ o Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional materials and sales collateral.
+ o Participate in promotional campaigns and initiatives designed to attract new business in the regional market.
