Assistant Manager - Tooling

• *Role \& Responsibilities:**

* Tooling Management

\- Ensure tooling activities, including tool design, development, procurement, andmaintenance.\- Ensure efficient tool management, including tool inventory, storage, and disposal.

* Costing and Budgeting

\- Estimate and control tooling costs, including material, labor, and overheads.\- Develop and manage tooling budgets, ensuring alignment with production requirementsand cost targets.

* Speed and Feed Knowledge

\- Have expertise in determining optimal cutting speeds and feed rates for variousmaterials and tooling applications.\- Understand the impact of speed and feed on tool life, surface finish, and productivity

* Fixture Management and validation

\- Ensure fixture design, development, procurement, and maintenance.\- Ensure fixture inventory is accurate and up to date.\- Insure with new product development fixture activities.Team Leadership:\- Lead and supervise a team of tooling technicians and assistants.\- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure team members meet performanceexpectations.

* Tooling Maintenance and Repair

\- Ensure tool maintenance, repair, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.\- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.Production Support:\- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve tooling\-related issues.\- Provide technical support to production teams on tooling\-related matters.

* Quality and Safety

\- Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations, industry standards, andcompany policies.\- Identify and report any quality or safety concerns.

Pay: ₹800,000\.00 \- ₹1,200,000\.00 per year
