Assistant Restaurant Manager

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, staff coordination, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Operations \& Service

• Assist in managing day\-to\-day restaurant operations
• Ensure high\-quality customer service and resolve guest complaints
• Monitor service flow, cleanliness, and restaurant hygiene
• Support opening and closing procedures

Staff Coordination

• Assist in staff scheduling, attendance, and shift management
• Train staff on SOPs, service standards, and grooming
• Supervise team performance during shifts
• Maintain discipline and teamwork on the floor

Sales \& Cost Control

• Support achievement of sales targets
• Monitor food wastage and portion control
• Assist in inventory management, stock checks, and ordering
• Ensure proper billing and cash handling procedures

Food Safety \& Compliance

• Ensure adherence to FSSAI, hygiene, and safety standards
• Follow HACCP, GMP, and POSH guidelines
• Maintain required documentation and audit readiness

Reporting \& Coordination

• Prepare daily sales, manpower, and operational reports
• Coordinate with vendors, kitchen, and central office
• Act as Restaurant Manager in their absence

Skills \& Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
• 4–7 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations
• Strong communication and team\-handling skills
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
