The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth staff coordination, food quality, hygiene standards, and achievement of sales and cost targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations \& Service
- Manage day\-to\-day restaurant operations efficiently.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant ambience.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, SOPs, and grooming standards.
- Conduct performance reviews and motivate the team to achieve operational goals.
- Manage staff attendance, discipline, and shift planning.
Sales \& Cost Control
- Achieve sales targets and drive restaurant revenue growth.
- Control food costs, wastage, and operational expenses.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and stock levels.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for billing, cash handling, and reporting.
Food Safety \& Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Implement HACCP, GMP, and POSH guidelines as applicable.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness.
Reporting \& Coordination
- Prepare daily sales, manpower, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with the central office, vendors, and support teams.
- Implement management instructions and new operational processes.
Candidate Requirement
We are looking for candidates who are currently based in Mumbai and have prior experience working in Mumbai\-based restaurants. Candidates should also be comfortable relocating to or working in Hyderabad, if required.
Skills \& Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
- Strong leadership and people\-management skills.
- Good communication and customer\-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
