Job Description
- *Job Summary**
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding corporate and B2B partnerships, and promoting the company's travel services. The role focuses on developing strategic business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, travel agents, and business partners.
- Generate business through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital platforms, and client meetings.
- Promote domestic and international holiday packages, corporate travel, MICE, group tours, FIT packages, hotel bookings, visa assistance, and other travel services.
- Develop customized travel solutions based on client requirements and budgets.
- Build and maintain long\-term relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, hotels, airlines, and destination management companies (DMCs).
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and business meetings to secure new accounts.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and service agreements.
- Coordinate with operations, ticketing, reservations, and customer support teams for seamless service delivery.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at travel exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities using CRM software.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business development reports, and performance updates for management.
- *Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel \& Tourism, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, or travel sales.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel products, corporate travel, MICE, and holiday planning.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
