Job Description

  • *Job Summary**

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, acquiring corporate and B2B clients, and increasing revenue through domestic and international travel solutions. The role focuses on expanding the company's client base while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate, B2B, B2C, and travel agent segments.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, digital platforms, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, hotels, airlines, and destination management companies (DMCs).
  • Promote domestic and international holiday packages, corporate travel solutions, MICE, group tours, FIT packages, visa assistance, and travel\-related services.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close new business opportunities.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with the operations and reservations teams to ensure seamless travel planning and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Attend travel exhibitions, networking events, and trade fairs to generate business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
  • Ensure excellent post\-sales support to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans for management.
  • *Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel \& Tourism, or a related field.
  • MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
  • 4–8 years of experience in business development or sales within the travel, tourism, hospitality, or airline industry.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international travel products, MICE, corporate travel, and holiday packages.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
