Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Building Material Testing Engineer to oversee construction material testing, quality inspections, and compliance with applicable IS standards for ongoing building construction projects.

Key Roles \& Responsibilities

● Conduct on\-site and laboratory testing of cement, concrete, steel, aggregates, bricks, blocks, and soil.

● Perform slump tests, concrete cube strength tests, sieve analysis, and other standard material tests.

● Inspect and verify the quality of construction materials received at project sites.

● Ensure materials and testing procedures comply with relevant IS codes and approved project specifications.

● Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and external testing laboratories.

● Maintain material testing reports, inspection records, and quality control documentation.

● Monitor concrete mix quality, sampling procedures, and material testing schedules.

● Identify quality deviations and coordinate necessary corrective actions.

Requirements

● Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction material testing or QA/QC.

● Practical knowledge of building materials, testing equipment, and IS standards.

● Experience in building construction projects or material testing laboratories preferred.

● Good documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.

● Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands\-on experience in construction material testing laboratories, civil QA/QC, or building construction projects will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹25,000\.00 per month
