Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical **CNC Maintenance Engineer** to oversee the operational health, machine availability, and technical troubleshooting of our advanced machine shop. The ideal candidate must possess comprehensive, hands\-on experience in executing both preventive and breakdown maintenance loops for multi\-axis CNC and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machinery.
This role demands strong diagnostic capabilities spanning integrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize cycle downtime and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing throughput.
Key Responsibilities1\. Machine Asset Maintenance \& Troubleshooting
- Execute comprehensive, structured preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for CNC turning centers, VMCs, and auxiliary production machinery.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex multi\-disciplinary faults across electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, hydraulic loops, and pneumatic actuators.
- Take absolute ownership of technical field breakdowns to minimize Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and drive maximum overall equipment availability.
2\. Electrical Controls \& Automation Systems
- Troubleshoot faults within CNC controller systems including **Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas** platforms.
- Perform first\-level diagnostics on PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), AC/DC servo motors, spindle drives, feedback encoders, and complex electrical circuits.
- Read, interpret, and accurately trace electrical circuit diagrams, ladder logic, and mechanical blueprints during active troubleshooting.
3\. Documentation, Spares, \& Quality Systems
- Implement and sustain standard maintenance checklists, machine health logs, and history card documentations.
- Monitor machine health parameters (vibration, temperature, alignment) and recommend continuous improvement engineering protocols.
- Manage the critical maintenance planning schedule and supervise internal inventory cycles for machinery spare parts to avoid extended delays.
- Drive shop\-floor manufacturing compliance structures including **TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, and Kaizen loops**.
Required Technical Skills \& Tools
- **Controller Frameworks:** Practical exposure handling Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi drives and controllers.
- **Fluid Power Systems:** Competency tracing faults in high\-pressure hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and pneumatic systems.
- **Instruments:** Hand\-on familiarity using electrical multimeters, clamp meters, dial indicators, and alignment mandrels.
- **Safety:** Deep understanding of industrial LOTO (Lockout\-Tagout) compliance and factory safety protocols.
