Senior Design Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager with strong expertise in large\-scale GCC construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will lead multidisciplinary design coordination, manage consultants, ensure compliance with international standards, and support execution teams from concept through delivery.
Candidates with prior experience in Gulf countries and exposure to high\-rise, mixed\-use, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or infrastructure developments will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design coordination for projects
Review and approve design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submissions
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
Manage design development from concept, schematic, detailed design, and IFC stages
Ensure compliance with GCC authority regulations, international codes, and client requirements
Conduct value engineering and optimize design efficiency without compromising quality
Support procurement and construction teams with technical clarifications
Monitor project timelines, design deliverables, and consultant performance
Participate in design review meetings and site coordination discussions
Identify project risks and provide proactive technical solutions
Mentor and guide internal design teams and junior engineers/architects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field
Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in design management
Strong GCC / Middle East project exposure preferred
Experience handling large\-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed\-use developments
Strong understanding of international design standards and GCC authority approvals
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination tools, Navisworks, and MS Project
Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Pay: ₹50,000\.00 \- ₹70,000\.00 per month
