Key Responsibilities

**Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:**Identifying and resolving hardware and software issues, such as network connectivity problems, application errors, and operating system glitches.
**Hardware and Software Installation:**Setting up new systems, installing and configuring software, and upgrading hardware components.
**End\-User Support:**Providing technical assistance to users, answering questions, and offering guidance on using software and hardware.
**Documentation and Reporting:**Recording incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference and for creating a knowledge base.
**System Maintenance:**Performing regular system backups, applying patches, and executing preventive maintenance to ensure system integrity and performance.
**Change Management:**Coordinating desktop changes to avoid deployment collisions and creating rollout plans for change requests.
**Security:**Ensuring the security of desktop computers and data by establishing and following appropriate access controls.
**Training:**Training and guiding staff on the use of hardware and software.
**Incident Handling:**Participating in incident handling concerning desktop changes and bigger desktop changes.
**Staying current with technologies:**Keeping up\-to\-date with the latest hardware and software trends and technologies.

Required Skills

Strong technical skills in hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Problem\-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
Knowledge of operating systems, networking, and computer hardware.
Ability to follow procedures and documentation.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
