Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented Finance Manager with strong expertise in GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should possess in\-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws, regulatory requirements, audits, and financial reporting. The role requires a hands\-on professional capable of ensuring complete compliance while supporting business operations through sound financial management practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesGST Management \& Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns including GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, GSTR\-9, and GSTR\-9C.
- Monitor GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance.
- Handle GST assessments, audits, notices, departmental queries, and litigation matters.
- Review GST implications on business transactions and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Conduct periodic GST reconciliations with books of accounts and statutory returns.
- Stay updated on GST law amendments and ensure organizational compliance.
TDS \& Direct Tax Compliance
- Ensure accurate deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns within statutory timelines.
- Manage all TDS\-related reconciliations and compliance activities.
- Handle income tax notices, assessments, and departmental communications.
- Review vendor and employee payments for TDS applicability and compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of tax records.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act provisions, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and other applicable laws.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and reports.
- Establish and maintain compliance calendars and internal control systems.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Financial Accounting \& Reporting
- Oversee general accounting functions, ledger scrutiny, and month\-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist management in financial planning and budgeting activities.
Audit \& Internal Controls
- Lead statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and internal audits.
- Ensure availability of audit\-ready documentation and records.
- Identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide finance and accounts team members.
- Review work output and ensure accuracy in accounting and compliance functions.
- Train team members on changes in taxation and compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com.
- Strong academic background in Finance, Taxation, or Accounting.
Required Skills \& Competencies
- Expert knowledge of GST laws, procedures, assessments, and reconciliations.
- Strong hands\-on experience in TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Thorough understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Experience handling tax notices, departmental audits, and assessments.
- Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Mandatory Experience
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounts.
- Minimum 5 years of hands\-on experience managing GST, TDS, and statutory compliance independently.
- Proven experience in handling GST audits, assessments, notices, and tax reconciliations.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, Trading, Hospitality, or Multi\-Entity Business Operations.
Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
