HR Executive (Payroll)

• *Job description**

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive to manage statutory compliance related to Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI). The candidate will be responsible for timely filing, reconciliation, employee registration, compliance reporting, and coordination with government portals and internal payroll teams.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Handle monthly PF and ESI return filings accurately and within deadlines
• Manage employee onboarding, UAN generation, IP registration, and KYC updates
• Prepare and upload ECR files for PF contributions
• Process ESI contributions and maintain employee insurance records
• Reconcile payroll data with PF \& ESI contributions
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations
• Respond to notices, inspections, and queries from PF/ESI departments
• Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation
• Coordinate with HR, payroll, and finance teams for employee data accuracy
• Assist employees with PF withdrawal, transfer, pension, and ESI claim procedures
• Generate compliance reports and MIS for management review
• Keep updated with changes in labour laws and compliance procedures

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1\-5 years of experience in PF \& ESI compliance and statutory filing
• Good knowledge of EPFO and ESIC portals
• Familiarity with payroll software and Excel
• Understanding of labour law compliance and payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and documentation skills

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience handling multiple client accounts or large employee databases
• Knowledge of PT, LWF, TDS, and other statutory compliances is an added advantage
• Experience with HRMS or payroll systems such as Tally, Zoho Payroll, SAP, or GreytHR
