Role: \-

Silver Peak SD\-WAN Architect will be responsible for the end\-to\-end design and implementation strategy for a large\-scale SD\-WAN transformation. The role requires deep expertise in Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) design, integration with multi\-cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and interoperability with existing on\-prem and WAN technologies (Versa, MPLS, Meraki). The architect will work closely with network operations, cloud, and security teams to deliver a scalable, resilient, and secure WAN solution.

Responsibilities

Ø Design and develop high\-level and low\-level designs (HLD/LLD) for Silver Peak SD\-WAN deployment.

Ø Design routing, segmentation, and overlay/underlay connectivity between branches, data centers, and cloud environments.

Ø Define network topology, traffic engineering, QoS, and application performance optimization strategies.

Ø Phased migration plan to transition existing WAN circuits and configurations to Silver Peak.

Ø Define and standardize configuration templates, policies, and automation workflows.

Ø Work with cloud teams to establish cloud\-onramp, IPsec, and BGP\-based connectivity.

Ø Integrate SD\-WAN security and routing policies with firewalls and cloud\-native controls.

Ø Maintain architecture diagrams, network inventories, and configuration baselines.

Ø Establish best practices and standards for network design and deployment automation.

Ø 10\+ years of network architecture and engineering experience.

Ø 5\+ years of SD\-WAN design and deployment experience, with hands\-on expertise in Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect).

Ø Strong understanding of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPsec, and QoS.

Ø Experience in WAN transformation and large\-scale network migrations.

Ø Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure networking, including VPN, Transit Gateway, and ExpressRoute.

Ø Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs).

Ø Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ø Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ø Ability to manage multiple priorities and large\-scale transformation projects.

Ø Comfortable working in hybrid, cross\-functional environments (Network, Security, Cloud, Operations).

Preferred Certifications

Ø Silver Peak ASE / Aruba Certified Edge Professional (ACEP) or equivalent.

Ø AWS / Azure Networking Specialty Certification.

Ø Cisco CCIE

Mandatory Skills: SD\-WAN Admin .
