L1 Support Engineer( 2-5 yrs, Application support, LOS/LMS), Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer (L1\) to provide first\-level support for Wholesale Lending applications. The role involves handling user queries, troubleshooting application issues, monitoring system health, validating data, and coordinating with development and support teams to ensure smooth day\-to\-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and related lending applications.
• Act as the first point of contact for business users regarding application\-related issues and queries.
• Log, track, and manage incidents, bugs, and service requests through ticketing tools.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve issues where possible.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior support or development teams with proper documentation.
• Support lending workflows including loan origination, disbursement, deviations, and related processes.
• Assist users with data validation, report discrepancies, and system navigation.
• Participate in UAT support, sanity testing, and post\-release validations.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams, and vendors during issue resolution.
• Monitor application jobs, daily alerts, interfaces, and data flows.
• Ensure timely escalation of critical issues and system failures.
• Maintain SOPs, FAQs, knowledge articles, and support documentation.
• Follow internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills

• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Sorting, Filtering).
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Banking, NBFC, Lending, LOS (Loan Origination System), LMS (Loan Management System), or BFSI domain.
• Exposure to application support, production support, incident management, and monitoring activities.

Pay: ₹400,000\.00 \- ₹600,000\.00 per year
