Lead Engineer, Agentic AI Workflows

Nexthop.ai specializes in crafting advanced solutions for large-scale AI infrastructure, operating with the agility of a startup. We are seeking a Lead Engineer for Agentic AI Workflows to design and implement systems where AI agents and humans collaborate seamlessly to streamline operations and enhance decision-making. In this role, you will construct agentic workflows for business operations and tooling, design human-in-the-loop processes that incorporate approvals, escalation paths, guardrails, and operator feedback, and develop AI copilots and assistants. Your work will leverage large language models, tools, APIs, telemetry, logs, and real-time system data. Additionally, you will create reusable frameworks for agent orchestration, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow automation, and task execution, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
