- *Job Description for the role of Manager \- Accounts**

The Kochi office of the firm has a vacancy for the role of Manager\-Accounts.
As a Manager – Accounts, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various functions of overseas clients across different industries particularly. You primary responsibility will be with respect to working alongside the overseas team, and ensure smooth transition of project to office in India. The candidate is required to be an expert in book keeping and accounting services with working knowledge of a cloud based accounting tool like QB, Zoho, Xero etc
**Key Responsibilities**
1\. Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Book keeping of the client based on documentary evidence
- Preparation, review and finalisation of financial statements
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision\-making.
- Provide insights into key financial metrics, trends, and variances.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Proper documentation of files
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns – monthly, quarterly and annual
- Prepare and analyse financial statements in compliance with standards and procedures.
- 2\. Tax Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns, and compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations.
3\. Client Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all the clients.
- Interact with clients to understand their financial needs, provide relevant financial information and finalise the deal.
- Address client inquiries and provide guidance on financial matters
4\. Team Coordination and Leadership
- Ability to build a team and coordinate the work
- Allocate work, supervise and mentor a team, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the team.
5\. Technology and Systems Management
- Stay updated on accounting software and technology trends.
- Implement and leverage technology to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
6\. Training and Development
- Provide training and development opportunities for the team.
- Keep the team informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- CA qualified
- Candidate must have a minimum experience of four to five years.
- Proficiency in Income tax Audit, Corporate Law, GST Audit etc.
