*The Manager – R\&D** will lead the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of products and solutions developed. **The role involves managing end\-to\-end product development activities, driving innovation, coordinating with cross\-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements, particularly in railway, transportation, industrial automation, and technology\-driven projects.**
*Key Responsibilities**
*Product Research \& Development**
Lead the development of new products, systems, and technologies aligned with company objectives.
Conduct technical feasibility studies, research activities, and proof\-of\-concept development.
Drive innovation and identify opportunities for product enhancement and cost optimization.
Develop product roadmaps and technology strategies for future growth.
*Design \& Engineering Management**
Manage complete product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
Review system architecture, design specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Oversee prototype development, testing, validation, and product certification activities.
*Project Management**
**Plan and monitor R\&D projects** with **defined timelines, budgets, and deliverables.**
**Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, sales, and project teams for successful implementation.**

Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, railway standards, safety requirements, and quality management systems.
Support patent filings, intellectual property protection, and technology documentation where applicable.
*Required Qualifications**
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
Additional certification in Project Management or Product Development will be an added advantage.
*Experience**
**8–15 years** of experience in **Research \& Development**, **Product Design**, **Engineering**, **or Technology Development.**
**Minimum 3–5 years of experience in leading engineering or R\&D teams.**
Experience in railway systems, industrial automation, embedded systems, electronics, signaling, transportation technologies, or related industries preferred.
