- Keeping track on identified competitors, customers, suppliers, industries, market trends, and technologies
- Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative product information for competitors
- Prepare and maintain benchmarking reports and performance mapping sheets for products
- Gather and publish product documents such brochures, whitepapers, technical data sheets for competitors
- Prepare competitor and customer profiles/reports including technical, operational, financial, and corporate data
- Develop new analytical models and techniques for a company to standardize data collection
- Should be adept in market estimates and forecasting.
- Plans, coordinates, and conduct extensive primary and secondary research, collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data
- Applying statistical models to forecast the market size and interpret the data along with presenting thorough analysis of the same

- *Educational requirements/Experience requirements**
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical engineering is must
- MBA in Marketing is plus
- *Knowledge and Experience**
- 4\-5 years product research and analysis experience
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical leaflets/brochures, performance data sheets
- Experience in Market and Competitive intelligence projects
- Conversant with Excel and PowerPoint
