1\. Job Summary
SK Translines Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result\-oriented Marketing Executive – Logistics \& Operations who will be responsible for handling marketing activities, business development, client coordination, and logistics operational support.
The candidate will work closely with the operations and management team to generate business opportunities, promote transportation services, coordinate dispatch operations, handle customer communication, manage transportation follow\-ups, and support smooth backend logistics activities.
The role requires strong communication skills, marketing abilities, logistics understanding, client handling capabilities, operational coordination skills, and reporting discipline.
2\. Key Roles \& ResponsibilitiesA. Business Development \& Client Acquisition
- Identify and approach potential customers, transport clients, warehouses, factories, distributors, and corporate companies requiring logistics services.
- Generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, references, meetings, field visits, and online platforms.
- Develop and maintain long\-term business relationships with customers.
- Achieve business development and client acquisition targets assigned by management.
- Maintain client database and regular follow\-up records.
B. Marketing \& Branding Activities
- Promote company logistics and transportation services professionally.
- Explain company operational strengths, transportation facilities, delivery process, and logistics support services to clients.
- Support online and offline marketing activities for company branding and promotion.
- Coordinate with management regarding business expansion and marketing strategies.
- Represent the company professionally during client meetings and discussions.
C. Client Coordination \& Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain professional communication with customers through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and meetings.
- Handle transportation inquiries, customer requirements, quotations, and follow\-ups.
- Ensure proper customer support and issue resolution.
- Maintain healthy and professional relationships with clients.
- Collect customer feedback regarding services and operations.
D. Logistics Operations \& Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate with backend logistics and operations team regarding vehicle placement and dispatch planning.
- Handle transportation scheduling and dispatch coordination.
- Follow up regarding shipment movement, POD updates, delivery status, and vehicle tracking.
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, branches, warehouses, and clients regarding dispatch activities.
- Monitor loading, unloading, dispatch, and delivery updates.
- Ensure timely communication regarding vehicle movement and shipment status.
- Assist in resolving operational and transportation\-related issues.
- Maintain dispatch records and transportation coordination reports.
E. Vehicle Tracking \& Transportation Monitoring
- Track vehicles and shipment movement on daily basis.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding route updates, delays, unloading status, and delivery schedules.
- Share transportation status updates with customers and management.
- Maintain proper records of vehicle movement and operational updates.
- Report transportation delays or operational issues to management immediately.
F. Quotation, Pricing \& Commercial Coordination
- Prepare and share transportation quotations as per company process.
- Coordinate with management regarding pricing approvals and transportation rates.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotation approval and business confirmation.
- Assist in negotiation and commercial discussions with clients.
- Maintain quotation records and commercial communication properly.
G. Documentation \& Reporting
- Maintain records of client data, transportation inquiries, quotations, and operational reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly marketing and logistics reports.
- Update Excel sheets, dispatch records, operational reports, and communication records regularly.
- Maintain proper email communication and documentation.
- Submit operational and marketing reports to management as per company process.
- Maintain POD records, dispatch updates, and transportation documentation.
H. ERP \& Backend Coordination
- Support ERP data entry and backend operational updates.
- Coordinate regarding stock updates, dispatch records, and shipment details.
- Ensure proper backend coordination between operations and marketing departments.
- Maintain operational data accuracy and reporting discipline.
- Assist management in maintaining operational workflow records.
I. Market Research \& Competitor Analysis
- Study logistics market trends and transportation industry requirements.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing structure, and service offerings.
- Identify new industries and sectors requiring logistics support.
- Share market updates and business opportunities with management team.
- Support business growth and market expansion activities.
3\. Required SkillsCommunication Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional client interaction and presentation abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, transporters, and internal teams.
Marketing \& Sales Skills
- Knowledge of business development and lead generation activities.
- Ability to handle client follow\-ups and business discussions.
- Understanding of customer relationship management.
Logistics \& Operations Knowledge
- Understanding of logistics operations, transportation process, dispatch planning, vehicle coordination, shipment handling, and backend logistics operations.
- Knowledge of vehicle tracking and transportation coordination will be preferred.
Computer Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, email communication, ERP systems, and reporting.
- Ability to maintain operational and marketing records digitally.
Coordination \& Teamwork
- Ability to coordinate with operations team, management, transporters, drivers, warehouses, and customers.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Problem\-Solving Skills
- Ability to handle customer issues and operational challenges professionally.
- Quick decision\-making and coordination ability.
4\. Qualification
- Any Graduate from recognized university.
- MBA in Marketing / Logistics will be preferred.
- Additional certification in Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
5\. Experience
- Candidates with experience in Logistics, Transportation, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Coordination will be preferred.
- Experience in logistics operations and transportation industry will be an added advantage.
- Candidates having experience in vehicle tracking, dispatch coordination, backend logistics operations, and customer handling will be preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills, confidence, and learning abilities may also apply.
Pay: ₹18,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
