The Network Support Engineer will manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the enterprise's network infrastructure. Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, wireless systems, and network security is essential. Core duties include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. The role involves continuous performance monitoring to ensure maximum uptime, and resolving issues related to LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity. Management of IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and security policies is required, alongside support for devices from vendors such as Cisco, HP, Aruba, and Fortinet. Coordination with internet service providers and vendors for issue resolution is also part of the position.
