Operational Finance and Cost Accuracy Manger

• *Role Overview:** Accountable for the accuracy of the company's books from a payables and COGS perspective — ensuring every vendor invoice is correctly posted, inventory is accurately valued, and the Trial Balance is clean and audit\-ready by the 5th of each month.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• *1\. Purchase \& Expense Booking**

▸ Accounts Payable function \- Book all purchase and overhead invoices in Tally same\-day; match against POs in Logic ERP

▸ Maintain petty cash per showroom; reconcile weekly; identify prepaid/capex items for correct booking

▸ Ensure vendor master data (PAN, GST, bank) is accurate in Tally for TDS compliance

• *2\. COGS \& Inventory Valuation**

▸ Extract closing stock from Uniware/Logic by 3rd; compute valuation (FIFO/weighted average)

▸ Reconcile Tally COGS vs ERP monthly; investigate variances

▸ Track shrinkage, damage, obsolescence; validate GRNs against POs and vendor bills

• *3\. Month\-End Close \& Fixed Assets**

▸ Post accruals, reverse prior\-month entries; ensure clean Trial Balance by 5th each month

▸ Maintain Fixed Asset register; calculate and post monthly depreciation by 3rd

Verify Razorpay/payment gateway fees; match bank vs portal vs Tally; raise disputes as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile

• *1\. Education**

▸ B.Com mandatory; CA or CMA strongly preferred; CAP or equivalent acceptable

• *2\. Experience**

▸ 4–5 years in operational finance, cost accounting, or accounts payable at ₹25 Cr\+ companies

▸ Mandatory: month\-end close, Trial Balance management, purchase invoice posting, vendor reconciliation

▸ Mandatory: inventory valuation methods (FIFO, weighted average) and periodic stock counting

▸ Fashion / retail / inventory\-heavy manufacturing experience highly preferred

▸ Fixed asset register \+ depreciation accounting and ERP systems (Logic, Uniware) a plus

• *3\. Skills \& Competencies**

▸ Advanced Tally ERP: JEs, ledger management, bank recon, month\-end procedures

▸ Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliation templates, variance analysis

▸ Strong reconciliation discipline — zero suspense entries; all variances resolved promptly

▸ Collaborative with warehouse, procurement, and ops teams; ownership of TB accuracy

Comfortable with month\-end deadline pressure; detail\-oriented with zero posting errors
