Operations Manager: Resort

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic **Operations Manager** to oversee the overall operations of the resort. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day\-to\-day functioning, deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage departmental teams, optimize operational efficiency, and achieve business and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the resort, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments.
• Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food \& Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Recreation teams.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high hospitality and service standards.
• Monitor room occupancy, reservations, and revenue performance.
• Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Sales and Reservations teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department heads and operational staff.
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure efficient manpower utilization.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, fire, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and management reports.
• Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and business partners.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision\-making abilities.
• In\-depth knowledge of resort and hospitality operations.
• Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as IDS or similar.
• Strong financial, budgeting, and cost\-control skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve operational challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• **5–8 years** of experience in hotel or resort operations, with at least **2–3 years in a managerial role**.
• Experience in luxury resorts, boutique resorts, or hospitality properties is preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
