Job Summary

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive **Payment Recovery Executive** with 4 years of experience in payment collection, outstanding payment tracking, and client coordination.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments, managing EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) and Bank Guarantee follow\-ups, tracking NYC payments, and maintaining accurate payment records. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills to work effectively with clients, the sales team, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with clients for pending and overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
• Manage and track EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) and Bank Guarantee submissions, releases, and follow\-ups.
• Monitor client payment status and maintain accurate records of outstanding dues.
• Track and coordinate NYC payments to ensure timely processing and settlement.
• Coordinate closely with the sales team regarding payment status, outstanding dues, and collection timelines.
• Prepare detailed payment breakups, including payments received, pending amounts, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain proper documentation of payment communications, client commitments, and follow\-up updates.
• Prepare and share regular payment recovery reports with management.
• Identify payment delays and proactively escalate unresolved issues to the concerned stakeholders.
• Ensure proper maintenance of payment\-related records and documentation.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in payment recovery, accounts receivable, payment collection, or a similar role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow\-up skills.
• Experience in client payment coordination and outstanding payment recovery.
• Knowledge of EMD, Bank Guarantees, and payment documentation.
• Understanding of payment tracking, reconciliation, and collection processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including payment tracking and reporting.
• Strong coordination skills with sales, finance, and client\-facing teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and record management.
• Ability to manage multiple payment follow\-ups and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in IT, System Integration (SI), Government Projects, or Corporate B2B payment recovery will be preferred.
• Experience handling EMD, Bank Guarantees, and client payment follow\-ups will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should be proactive, organized, and comfortable communicating with clients for payment recovery.
