Kazam EV is a leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions in India, working with top OEMs such as TVS, Mahindra, Bajaj, and Ather. We design and manufacture AC and DC chargers to accelerate EV adoption across the country.

• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a technical **Product Manager for Electrical Systems** to own the lifecycle, performance, and scalability of our charger’s electrical components **(like the wiring harness)** and the final customer installation ecosystem **(including earthing, cabling, and sockets).**

• *Key Responsibilities1\. Technical Product Ownership \& R\&D Advisory**

• **Component Ownership:** Define and own the technical specifications for critical electrical components within the charger, focusing on wiring harnesses, connectors, and internal distribution blocks.
• **Tech Team Collaboration:** Partner directly with the hardware and technology teams to evaluate component performance, recommending design or material changes based on field behavior and testing.
• **Installation Architecture:** Design, standardize, and optimize the final customer\-side installation kit (including earthing layouts, protection devices, and cable management) to drive down deployment complexity and cost.

• *2\. Standardization \& Process Efficiency**

• **Technical Benchmarking:** Work \& maintain technical Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), engineering guidelines, and installation SOPs.
• **Efficiency Engineering:** Streamline the entire installation setup to reduce execution time, eliminate material wastage, and achieve a consistent "First\-Time\-Right" deployment at customer sites.
• **Compliance \& Safety:** Ensure all internal product schematics and field installation setups strictly adhere to Indian electrical standards regarding earthing resistance, surge protection, and circuit isolation.

• *3\. Closed\-Loop Quality \& Field Diagnostics**

• **Targeted Field Validations:** Oversee specialized quality audits on complex or new product deployments to gather real\-world reliability data.
• **Root Cause Resolution:** Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring electrical failures or field defects, translating those findings into engineering change requests or product updates.
• **Vendor Technical Enablement:** Set technical quality benchmarks for component vendors and installation partners, ensuring they have the technical clarity needed to execute flawlessly.

• *Required Qualifications \& Skills**

• **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical \& Electronics Engineering.
• **Experience:** 8 years of experience blending hands\-on electrical engineering with technical product ownership, systems engineering, or project management in the EV, power electronics, or industrial automation sectors.
• **Technical Mastery:** Deep knowledge of electrical systems, wiring harness design, earthing mechanisms, protection devices (MCB, RCCB/RCBO, SPD), and cable selection.
• **Problem\-Solving Mindset:** Proven ability to look at field\-level execution challenges and design systematic, product\-level engineering solutions to prevent them.
• **Stakeholder Management:** Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with R\&D teams, push technical requirements, and align with external OEM partners.
• **Travel:** Willingness to travel to customer locations and deployment sites for overseeing technical validation when launching new products or layouts.

Pay: ₹800,000\.00 \- ₹1,400,000\.00 per year
