Production Engineer

• *JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION ENGINEER**

Perfura Technologies is a Post Harvest Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing company located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, with a branch office in Hyderabad\-Telangana \& Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

• *Role Summary**

We are looking for a hands\-on Production Engineer to plan, coordinate and monitor daily manufacturing activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, effective manpower utilisation, product quality and timely completion of agricultural machinery.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate production activities, including fabrication, welding, fitting and machine assembly.
• Allocate daily work to welders, fitters and helpers.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Coordinate with Stores and Procurement for raw materials and bought\-out components.
• Ensure production activities follow approved engineering drawings, BOMs and specifications.
• Monitor product quality, dimensional accuracy and workmanship at every stage.
• Identify production delays, material shortages and manufacturing issues, and take corrective action.
• Reduce material wastage, rework and production downtime.
• Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machinery and materials.
• Maintain daily production reports, job status and other production records.
• Ensure workplace safety, discipline and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with the Service team and hand over completed unpainted machines for further processing.
• Report production performance, delays and issues to the Operations Manager.
• **SAP:** Basic knowledge of SAP (MM, PP and BOM) preferred.
• **BOM:** Ability to prepare and manage BOMs.
• **Manufacturing Practices:** Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
• **Cost Optimization:** Ability to reduce production costs and improve efficiency.
• **SolidWorks:** Basic knowledge of sheet metal nesting and minor drawing modifications.

• *Qualifications \& Skills**

• BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience in agricultural machinery, fabrication or machinery manufacturing is preferred.
• Good knowledge of welding, fabrication, fitting and machine assembly.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Knowledge of production planning and manpower management.
• Good problem\-solving and team\-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong focus on quality, productivity and delivery timelines.

• *Reporting Structure**

• *Reports To:** Operations Manager

• *Coordinates With:** Production Welders, Fitters, Helpers, Stores, Procurement, Quality and Service Teams.

• *Primary Accountability:** To ensure efficient production, quality manufacturing and timely completion of agricultural machinery as per customer requirements.

Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
