Production Head : Fabrication

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced and result\-oriented Production Head to lead and manage the fabrication production unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production planning, resource utilization, quality control, safety compliance, and timely delivery while ensuring optimum productivity and cost efficiency.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Plan, organize, and supervise all fabrication production activities.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
• Monitor production targets, productivity, and operational performance.
• Oversee fabrication processes including cutting, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Analyze production reports, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with stores.
• Lead, train, and mentor production supervisors and shop\-floor employees.

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and manufacturing operations.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.

• *Qualification**

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

• *Experience**

• 8–15 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role as Production Head, Production Manager, or similar.

• *Preferred Candidate Profile**

• Experience in structural steel, heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, industrial equipment, or sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of welding standards, quality inspection, and production planning.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹45,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
