Role Overview

As a Purchase Executive, you will oversee end\-to\-end procurement and vendor management for finished pharmaceutical products, third\-party loan license/contract manufacturing facilities, and packaging materials. You will ensure optimal cost efficiency, strict adherence to WHO\-GMP quality benchmarks, timely batch releases, and seamless inventory availability.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Third\-Party Vendor Sourcing \& Contract Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard loan\-license and contract manufacturing plants across key pharma manufacturing hubs (Baddi, Paonta Sahib, Haridwar, Ahmedabad, etc.).

Negotiate competitive rates for conversion charges, finished goods pricing, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), credit periods, and delivery lead times.

Issue formal Purchase Orders (POs) and manage vendor contracts in compliance with company commercial and legal guidelines.

2\. Production Coordination \& Follow\-up

Act as the primary liaison between company marketing/sales requirements and external manufacturing units.

Track daily batch manufacturing schedules, ensuring production, visual inspection, quality testing (COA verification), and packaging meet agreed delivery timelines.

Coordinate the timely approval of artwork, foil/carton designs, and brand layouts with third\-party manufacturers and packaging vendors.

3\. Inventory Control, Documentation \& Compliance

Maintain optimal inventory buffer levels across fast\-moving formulations, preventing out\-of\-stock situations or batch expiry risks.

Ensure all vendor facilities hold valid licensing (WHO\-GMP, GLP, Drug Licenses, Form 20\-B / 21\-B compliance) and regulatory documentation.

Verify incoming material invoices, delivery challans, Certificate of Analysis (COA), and dispatch documents against Purchase Orders before forwarding them to Accounts for payment clearance.

4\. Cost Optimization \& Quality Assurance

Regularly benchmark market raw material and packaging costs (APIs, excipients, PVC/Alu\-Alu foils, mono cartons) to negotiate better unit economics.

Address and resolve batch rejection, quality defects, or transit damage issues by coordinating credit notes or replacement batches with vendors.

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
