• *About Intelligent Automation Team**

Intelligent Automation (IA) is a multidisciplinary team within the Transformation Office (TO), tasked with identifying, developing, and deploying automated solutions by leveraging a variety of emerging technologies. These technologies encompass Robotic Process Automation, Python Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Prompt Engineering, APIs, and Cloud Services.

• *About the Role:**

As an Automation Developer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing automated solutions for the Citco Group. You will collaborate closely with process owners and business unit representatives to streamline and digitize operational processes, thereby driving significant efficiency and cost savings for Citco.

• *Job Duties in Brief:**

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python\-based applications and scripts to automate business processes
• Build and support intelligent automation solutions combining Python, RPA (UiPath), Citco Document Intelligence, and low\-code tools
• Write efficient, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Design, consume, and integrate REST/SOAP APIs; handle authentication, pagination, and error handling for third\-party and internal services
• Parse, transform, and validate JSON/XML data structures within automation and integration workflows
• Develop and maintain front\-end components using React
• Leverage AI code assistance tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Kiro) to accelerate development through effective prompt engineering and spec\-driven development practices
• Translate functional/technical specifications into clear, actionable prompts and implementation plans for AI\-assisted coding
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Learn and apply new technologies (AWS Cloud, Power Platform, Databricks, UiPath, Citco Document Intelligence) as project needs evolve
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high\-quality deliverables, including validating AI\-generated code
• Document technical processes, code, and solutions for knowledge sharing
• Deliver projects on time, managing priorities across multiple initiatives
• Weekend testing will be required for releases (new functionality, bugs, enhancements, upgrades); generally one or two releases are scheduled per quarter

• *About You:**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3\+ years of professional experience in Python development
• Proficiency in working with REST APIs and JSON/XML data formats (request/response handling, serialization/deserialization)
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and database design concepts
• Experience building UI components/applications using React
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and spec\-driven development workflows
• Hands\-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or similar tools
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools/technologies
• Experience using APIs
• Assets:

+ Exposure to AWS Cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS)

+ Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

+ Experience with Databricks or other big data/analytics platforms

+ Knowledge of UiPath or other RPA tools

+ Practical experience writing detailed specs/prompts to drive AI\-assisted code generation

+ Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

+ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

+ Technical certification
