Job Summary
The Automobile Sales Manager is responsible for leading vehicle sales operations, achieving sales targets, managing the sales team, handling customer relationships, and driving dealership profitability. The role involves planning sales strategies, monitoring market trends, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring overall showroom or territory performance.
Key Responsibilities1\. Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual vehicle sales targets
- Drive retail and institutional sales growth
- Monitor team performance against KPIs
- Prepare sales forecasts and business plans
2\. Team Management
- Lead and supervise Sales Executives and Team Leaders
- Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews
- Motivate the team to improve productivity and conversions
- Train staff on product knowledge and sales techniques
3\. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent customer experience
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Build relationships with fleet customers and corporate clients
- Improve repeat business and referrals
4\. Business Development
- Identify new market opportunities
- Develop local marketing and lead\-generation activities
- Coordinate roadshows, exhibitions, and promotional events
- Increase market penetration in assigned territory
5\. Dealer Operations
- Monitor inquiry\-to\-retail conversion
- Ensure proper vehicle stock management
- Coordinate with finance and insurance teams
- Maintain showroom standards and OEM guidelines
6\. MIS \& Reporting
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports
- Track booking, billing, retail, and delivery status
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends
- Maintain CRM and customer database
7\. Coordination with OEM
- Implement company sales schemes and campaigns
- Participate in OEM reviews and meetings
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies

Qualification
