Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and auditing processes. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, managing audits, and overseeing the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• **GST Compliance:**
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns.
• Reconcile GST input tax credit and output tax liability.
• Handle GST audits and assessments.
• Stay updated on changes in GST laws and implement necessary changes.
• **TDS Compliance:**
• Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS.
• Prepare and file TDS returns accurately.
• Handle TDS assessments and resolve discrepancies.
• Keep up\-to\-date with TDS regulations and compliance requirements.
• **Audit Management:**
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and necessary documentation.
• Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Implement audit recommendations and improve financial processes.
• **Financial Reporting:**
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• **General Accounting:**
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Support the finance team in various accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• **Education:**
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• **Experience:**
• Minimum of 2\-3 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Proven experience in GST, TDS, and audit processes.
• **Skills:**
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month
