Senior Java Developer (Azure Cloud & Search Platforms)

##### **Project description**

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in cloud\-native application development, microservices architecture, and Azure infrastructure. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise\-scale applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with a focus on scalability, reliability, observability, and search\-driven solutions. Experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, search \& indexing platforms, and Microsoft Purview is highly desirable.

##### **Responsibilities**

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Build and maintain cloud\-native microservices on Azure and AKS.

Develop REST APIs and event\-driven solutions leveraging Kafka.

Implement and optimize search, indexing, and retrieval capabilities using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

Collaborate with architects and product teams on solution design and implementation.

Drive CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Ensure application security, performance, and reliability in production environments.

##### **Skills**

Must have

6\+ years of software development experience, Java 11\+/17\+, Spring Boot, REST APIs

3\+ years building Microservices and Cloud\-native applications

Hands\-on AKS and Azure platform experience

Experience delivering enterprise\-scale applications

Azure Cloud Services

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Kubernetes, Docker

Apache Kafka / Event\-Driven Architecture

SQL \& NoSQL Databases

Git, GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines

Strong understanding of Distributed Systems and Cloud\-Native Design Patterns
