The Role and Impact As a SoC Design Verification Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and robustness of Intel's next\-generation System\-on\-Chip (SoC) designs. Key Responsibilities \- Develop and execute scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans, test benches, and environments. \- Perform functional logic verification of SoC designs to validate specifications and uncover bugs. \- Define and run emulation and system simulation models to verify design functionality, analyze power and performance, and address issues. \- Debug, root cause, and resolve failures in the presilicon environment while documenting corrective actions. \- Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, postsilicon engineers, and physical design teams to enhance verification methodologies and ensure high\-quality SoC designs. \- Drive technical reviews of verification plans and strategies with cross\-functional teams. \- Incorporate security\-focused activities into verification, including regression and debug tests, to ensure comprehensive security coverage. \- Maintain and improve existing verification infrastructure and methodologies to support future product development. \- Learn from postsilicon outcomes to update test plans for missing coverage and drive continuous improvement in validation processes.
Minimum Qualifications \- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. \- 15\+ years of experience in SoC design verification with a Bachelor's degree, 13\+ years with a Master's degree. \- Proficiency in System Verilog and hardware simulation methodologies. \- Experience with OVM and UVM\-based verification environments. \- Strong knowledge of hardware design, SoC integration, and debugging. \- Hands\-on experience with C/C\+\+ for verification and test\-case development. \- Proven ability to execute disciplined and methodical design verification practices. Preferred Qualifications \- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams. \- Knowledge of low\-power design verification methodologies. \- Familiarity with performance modeling and analysis tools. \- Experience with security verification techniques and processes. \- A passion for solving complex design challenges and continuously improving methodologies.
