*Specialist Manager, Creative Direction (First Draft Proposal\- Pursuits)** Do you enjoy working with structured content and delivering high\-quality materials quickly and accurately? If so, we invite you to join our Pursuit Management team as First Draft Proposal (FDP) support Team Manager. In this role, you will oversee and direct the FDP team, driving operational excellence and team development. This is a team leadership and execution\-focused role for a team that supports the early stages of the pursuit lifecycle by assembling content efficiently, accurately, and consistently. As Manager, you will set team priorities, establish standards of excellence, handle recruitment, coach and develop team members, and serve as the primary liaison between the FDP team and broader Pursuit Management leadership. In this role, you will drive innovation in First Draft content development, integrate advanced technologies including GenAI, and contribute to Deloitte’s pursuit success at scale. **Work you’ll do** As a First Draft Support Manager, you will: * Lead, mentor, and manage the First Draft Support team, fostering a high\-performance culture built on accountability, innovation, and continuous development. * Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across geographies, ensuring alignment on expectations, timelines, and quality standards. * Guide team members in maintaining quality assurance standards and proactively addressing technology\- and AI\-related risks; provide advice on adapting technology platforms and, where appropriate, customizing AI models with organization\-specific data to elevate content quality. * Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive First Draft content management strategy aligned with organizational goals; oversee optimization of content organization, curation, and accessibility by applying best practices in categorization, tagging, and taxonomy. * Establish and maintain robust content lifecycle management policies, including version control, confidentiality standards, and knowledge\-sharing practices; support development of knowledge repositories for the FDP team. * Drive operational efficiency through process automation enabled by advanced technologies, including GenAI; collaborate with pursuit leadership to refine content management processes and integrate technology for streamlined workflow automation. * Translate ambiguous business requirements into structured content outputs. * Track and report team performance metrics and KPIs. * Solicit regular feedback from stakeholders and conduct team touchpoints to ensure high client satisfaction and drive continuous improvement; build team eminence within the pursuit group by showcasing advancements in AI\-enabled content development. * Work independently or as part of a broader pursuit support team, depending on business needs and deadlines, closely with pursuit leadership, client service teams, and stakeholders to align team output with business development priorities and organizational goals. * Develop initial drafts of proposal documents and related pursuit materials using approved templates and standardized content in an individual contributor capacity. * Participate in the design, curation, and optimization of pursuit content, including templates and AI\-enhanced proposal drafts, while integrating advanced technologies. **The team** Our team culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on continuous learning. Our pursuit professionals bring creativity, discipline, and a strong sense of teamwork to help deliver value and drive successful outcomes. **Qualifications Required:** * 11\+ years of post\-Master’s degree relevant experience in pursuit management, with proven experience with content strategy, curation and management * Master’s degree in business management, or a related field * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly learn about a wide range of topics * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment * Strong initiative and ability to interact effectively with professionals at all levels * Solid project management and organizational skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools * High level of flexibility, responsiveness, and adaptability * Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, including team building, performance management, and professional development of direct reports * Strong understanding of digital content and other leading\-edge technologies, including GenAI * Experience in business development and presales activities (such as RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, and client presentations) is highly preferred * **Location:** Hyderabad **Work hours:** 2:00 pm to 11:00 PM **Our purpose** Deloitte’s purpose is to make an impact that matters for our people, clients, and communities.
