Banquet Sales Manager

A Banquet Sales Manager drives revenue by booking and planning events, weddings, and conferences, acting as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. They coordinate with kitchen and service teams to execute events flawlessly.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• **Sales Generation:** Proactively secure new banquet, catering, and event business through sales calls, networking, and marketing efforts.
• **Client Relationship Management:** Act as the main point of contact to understand client needs, provide proposals, and ensure satisfaction before and during events.
• **Contracting \& Planning:** Prepare detailed contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and event timelines.
• **Revenue Management:** Set and achieve monthly/annual sales budgets and maximize profitability through upselling.
• **Operational Coordination:** Liaise closely with catering, culinary, and setup teams to execute events according to specifications.
• **Reporting:** Track performance metrics and monitor competitor offerings.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• **Experience:** Proven experience in banquet sales, catering, or event management, often 3\-5 years.
• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
• **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written skills for negotiating and client interaction.
• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in catering management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• **Leadership:** Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with teams.

• Achieving or exceeding budgeted sales targets.
• Increasing repeat client bookings.
• Securing ODC (Outdoor Catering) and venue bookings.

Pay: ₹50,000\.00 \- ₹100,000\.00 per month
