Housekeeping Room Attendant

• *Job Summary**

The Housekeeping GSA is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction in line with hotel policies and brand standards.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *Guest Rooms \& Public Areas**

• Clean and service guest rooms as per daily allocation and standard operating procedures
• Ensure rooms are cleaned, stocked, and inspected before guest arrival
• Clean public areas including corridors, lobbies, staircases, restrooms, and back\-of\-house areas
• Maintain cleanliness of linen rooms and housekeeping stores

• *Standards \& Hygiene**

• Follow hotel housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and hygiene protocols
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery safely and correctly
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards immediately

• *Guest Interaction**

• Greet guests courteously and respond to guest requests promptly
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when required
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times

• *Inventory \& Linen Management**

• Maintain proper usage of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
• Ensure correct handling and storage of housekeeping equipment

• *Coordination \& Reporting**

• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams for room status updates
• Update room cleaning status in the system or as per hotel procedure
• Attend departmental briefings and training sessions

• *Qualifications \& Experience**

• Minimum 10th / 12th pass preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping (freshers can apply)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is an advantage

• *Working Conditions**

• Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physically demanding role involving standing, lifting, and bending

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086\.00 \- ₹22,000\.00 per month
